Dunkeswell War Stories

As part of their local study in the spring term, Class Two have been working with Dream Machine Media on a very exciting project.

Dunkeswell War Stories is an interactive heritage project and the children have been helping to create an online film resource capturing and re-telling some of the incredible stories of Dunkeswell from the Second World War of 70 years ago. The team have visited school twice a week to teach the pupils about the important role that Dunkeswell played in WWII. Not only that, but they’ve been teaching them how to work their own equipment, including the state-of-the-art DSLR cameras, so that they can make their own films about the history of the war.
